We have several different items that help display your wall plate or tile. Here we´d like to explain the differences so you can make the right choice.
The brand of hangers and struts we use is the best in the market. You can choose your own of course, but especially when it comes down to sticker hangers and perhaps glue, there are things to keep in mind. Normal glue can become soft or lose power in high temperatures. Then the hook you pasted on the back of your plate might come off. The glue that is on our sticker hangers is a heavy industrial glue that hardens. Plus we make sure that the weight they can carry is within a very safe margin when you use them on our plates and tiles.
For the struts and wire hangers we know that the wire is coated so it doesn´t leave scratches on the surface of the porcelain and the tiles. The wire hanger has sturdy springs on the back that can carry well over the weight of the plates and tiles.
Options for the plates
For the plates we have a strut to display the plate on a shelf or in a cupboard. We have a smal size for the 15cm and 19cm and the large size for the 25cm plates. If you pick the size of the plate you ordered, we´ll figure out which one to pack for you. We stock white struts to blend in nicely with the porcelain. This option looks best at below eye level as you can view the plate in the best angle.
The wire hangers are the classic way of hanging your plates. If you are charmed with a retro style, or more of a rural style interior, this is your best option. The plate has a little bit of space on the back because the hangers have a little depth. For plates that hang on or above eye level this is very nice looking as you see the imagery very well. It is recommended you use a screw hook.
If you like your walls clean and perfect, this is your thing. The modern way to hang your plates. And yes the sticker is fit for the job and won’t come off. It’s a heavy duty industrial glue. Follow the instructions well (clean surface, let dry thouroughly) and place the ring on the back so it won’t be visible at the front. It is recommended you use a screw hook. The further you screw in the screw hook into the wall the flatter it will hang.
Options for the tiles
For the tile we have three options. The first is the strut to display the tile on a shelf or in a cupboard. We stock white struts to blend in nicely with the glaze.
If you want to hang your tiles, we have a sticker hanger for you. Yes the sticker is fit for the job and won’t come off. It’s a heavy duty industrial glue. Follow the instructions well (clean surface, press well, let dry thouroughly) and place the ring on the back so it won’t be visible at the front. It is recommended you use a screw hook. The further you screw in the screw hook into the wall the flatter it will hang.
As a true piece of art you can display our tiles on this little easel. Simply place the easel in an angle that presents the tile the best.
